Three ways to work with Northway.

Each one starts from a situation you will recognize and ends in something your team can run without Northway in the room. Written scope before work begins. Fixed fee, quoted after a first conversation. No standard durations, because the scope sets the time. Each engagement can stand alone or continue as a monthly advisory retainer, keeping me close to the leadership team as the work moves forward.

AI Opportunity Assessment

“We know AI could help, but we don't know where to begin.”

The problem

Ideas are not the shortage. A way to choose between them is. Pilots multiply, vendors pitch, and nobody can say which effort would change a number someone owns.

What Northway does

I work with the leadership team to find where AI can change a result, test whether the data, workflows and people are ready for it, and put the opportunities in order. You get a plan with owners, not a list of possibilities.

You receive

  • A review of the workflows and systems any AI effort would depend on
  • Candidate use cases drawn from how the business runs, ranked by impact, effort and risk
  • A recommended approach for each: build, buy, partner, or wait
  • A sequenced roadmap with owners and decision points
  • An executive readout, in a working session

How it runs

  1. Conversations with the leaders who own the results and the people who run the work
  2. A review of the tools, data and reporting already in place
  3. Written scope agreed before work starts; the timeline set with you
  4. Nothing extracted or installed; the assessment works from how the business operates

Who it is for

  • Leadership teams with approved AI spend and no agreed plan
  • Organizations with several pilots in flight and no shared view of which ones matter
  • Operating partners who need an independent read on a portfolio company
Fee
Fixed fee, quoted after an initial conversation.
Timing
Set by the written scope, not by a standard package.

03 / Offer 02

AI Sales Intensive

“Our commercial team needs practical AI capability.”

The problem

Most sales teams have the tools and no agreement on how to use them. People experiment alone, a few get good, most quietly stop, and leadership cannot see any of it.

What Northway does

Working sessions with sales, partnership and revenue teams on their own accounts and pipeline. We agree what AI should and should not touch, then build the workflows people will use the next morning: account research, meeting preparation and follow-up, proposals, internal reporting, and finding what the company already knows.

You receive

  • Working workflows, built by each person on their own accounts
  • Guardrails on what AI should and should not touch in your business
  • A short written follow-up for leadership: what landed, what did not, what to change next
  • A clear view on whether a larger program is warranted

What the sessions cover

Account research and preparation
A current picture of an account in minutes, with sources, instead of an afternoon of tabs.
Meeting preparation and follow-up
Pre-reads, talking points, and post-call capture that lands in the account record without retyping.
Proposals and internal reporting
First drafts from what the team already knows, and pipeline updates that reflect reality.
Knowledge that stays
Capturing what was learned so the next person, and the next quarter, starts ahead.

How it runs

  1. Leaders and sellers in the same room, on live work
  2. Your tools and your data, with the guardrails agreed first
  3. Small groups, hands on. Nobody watches a demo
  4. Format and length scoped to the team: one session or a short series

Who it is for

  • Revenue leaders who want their teams using AI well, not experimenting at random
  • Teams with tools in place and little agreement on how to use them
  • Organizations that want to see practical value before committing to a larger program
Fee
Fixed fee, quoted after an initial conversation.
Timing
Set by the written scope, not by a standard package.

04 / Offer 03

Commercial Operating Systems

“Our tools, dashboards and processes don't work together.”

The problem

Tools accumulate faster than they connect. Account history lives in inboxes, the pipeline review runs on an export someone fixes by hand, and the dashboards show last month. Every process depends on the person who knows the workaround.

What Northway does

Design and build the connected system your commercial team runs on. Sometimes that is a dashboard that finally agrees with the numbers people trust. Sometimes it is a workflow that stops handoffs and account history from being rebuilt by hand, a knowledge base people actually use, or AI inside an internal process where it earns its place. I scope the work to what I can build well, and if a build needs more than that, you hear it before work starts, not after.

You receive

  • A map of how information actually moves through the team, and what to fix first
  • Dashboards, workflows and internal tools designed and built to a written scope
  • Connected tools and automation where they remove manual work
  • Documentation and a handoff your team can run without Northway

What this builds, for example

A commercial dashboard people trust
One view of pipeline, accounts and commitments that agrees with the numbers leadership already believes, refreshed without anyone exporting a spreadsheet.
Handoffs that stop being rebuilt by hand
A workflow that carries context from first meeting to renewal, so the account history survives the person who held it.
A knowledge base the team actually opens
Sources of truth, review rules, and retrieval that answers the question in the words the team uses.
AI inside the process, where it earns its place
Research, drafting and summarizing built into the step where the work happens, with guardrails on what it never touches.

How it runs

  1. Starts from the problem you already know you have. No assessment required first
  2. Written scope, agreed before work begins
  3. Built with the people who will run it, in the tools you already use where possible
  4. Scope sized honestly; if a build needs more than one advisor, you hear it before work starts

Who it is for

  • Operations and revenue leaders with dashboards nobody trusts and reviews that run on spreadsheets
  • Founders whose company has outgrown the way it keeps track of accounts, partners and commitments
  • Teams that know what they need built and want an operator, not a software vendor
Fee
Fixed fee for scoped work, quoted after an initial conversation.
Timing
Set by the written scope, not by a standard package.

05 / Working with Northway over time

Ongoing advisory

Some challenges need a partner beyond the first engagement. Northway offers ongoing advisory relationships with a defined monthly scope, regular leadership working sessions, and practical guidance as priorities evolve.

The work, availability and deliverables are agreed in writing. Larger builds or new workstreams are scoped separately.

  1. 01

    Available from the start

Ongoing advisory can follow any of the three offers, or begin on its own when that is what the work needs. No assessment or project is required first.

  2. 02

    A defined monthly scope

What Northway works on each month, how and when to reach the founder, and what you receive are written down before the first month begins.

  3. 03

    Working sessions with leadership

Regular sessions with the leadership team, and practical guidance between them as priorities change, decisions come up and the plan meets reality.

  4. 04

    New work, scoped separately

A larger build or a new workstream gets its own written scope and fixed fee. The monthly scope does not stretch quietly to absorb it.
